About Siblings

Come along to Siblings Nursery and you’ll know you’re in an environment where your child will be safe to learn and develop.

Our internal and external play areas are carefully planned to make learning fun, allowing freedom to play and explore whilst remaining safe and secure at all times, for your peace of mind.

I hear and I forget
I see and I remember
I do and I understand
– Proverb

Our staff come to us with a variety of childhood backgrounds, but they all have at least one thing in common – a love of working with children and a passion for teaching and watching them grow into competent learners. Our team of practitioners provide exciting opportunities for children to explore and investigate and they use nearly every activity, in which your child engages, as opportunities to teach.

We recognise that parents want to be involved and share their children’s experiences, that is why we invite you to register with Siblings Nursery unique service, ‘text-a-smile’.

Every child at Siblings has a learning journal to show their progress throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This journal is used for formative, summative and evaluative assessments. When your child leaves Siblings Nursery, you can take the learning journal home as a keepsake. The learning journal is useful when children start school as it will give the teacher an indication of where the child is with regards to their developmental milestones. We use Development Matters and ECAT trackers to ensure we track children’s development effectively and support each child to make significant progress in their learning.
